Laura Collins
Laura Collins, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a refreshingly down-to-earth, holistic approach to psychiatric care. With more than a decade of behavioral health experience, Laura combines strong clinical expertise with something equally important: she takes the time to really listen.
A nature lover with a bit of a hippie spirit, Laura believes mental health care should look at the whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a medication list. Her appointments are intentionally unrushed, often approaching an hour, allowing time to explore lifestyle, stress, relationships, physical well-being, and other factors that may be affecting mental health. Medication can be an important tool, but it is only one part of her approach.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys being outdoors and staying active, including playing tennis and basketball. Patients looking for an experienced provider who is warm, approachable, open-minded, and genuinely interested in getting to know them may find Laura to be an especially good fit.
